Current Student Information

All new MCC F-1 students needs to attend and participate in "Orientation for F-1 International Students" hosted by International Student Services. This orientation will review immigration policies and explore services available at MCC. F-1 students should also complete a second general New Student Orientation online designed for all new MCC students.

Metropolitan Community College provides services to enhance student learning at no additional cost to the student. The Learning and Tutoring Center houses computers and a wealth of resources as well as tutoring services. To learn more about these resources, visit:

Students will receive an email regarding enrollment and how to access their health insurance card. You can always access your card online, but if you have any questions or concerns please contact the insurance company directly: info@wellfleetinsurance.com or call (413) 733-4540. Students may go to Student Services at most MCC locations or the Academic Support Commons at the Elkhorn Valley Campus with a copy of their student schedules and photo ID to request a student ID. The ID will allow the student to use the library, learning center, and computer lab at any campus. It may also be used for student discount tickets throughout the city.

Each student is encouraged to have a parking permit for cars parked on campus. The permit is free and available at Student Services locations.

Metropolitan Community College does not have housing on campus. Students may use the following websites to search for housing options.

Note: All English as a Second Language (ESL) courses are offered at the South Omaha Campus.
