About the Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) Program
The MCC Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) Course is an online, instructor-led training designed to prepare individuals for the aPHR® certification exam offered by the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). This course introduces core principles of Human Resource Management, exploring timely topics such as rising unemployment, financial challenges, and changing workplace dynamics.
Through case studies and real-world examples, participants will analyze contemporary HR issues and gain practical knowledge to advance their careers. Upon completion, participants will have the foundational knowledge needed to pursue HR roles and be fully prepared to sit for the aPHR® exam.

Certification Pathway & Registration
The aPHR Course meets once per week for 3 hours in a fully online format. The course runs for seven weeks, providing participants with a structured schedule that balances flexibility with guided instruction.
The Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) Course prepares participants for the aPHR® certification exam, a 100-question, computer-based assessment administered by the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). The exam lasts 2.25 hours and validates knowledge of foundational HR principles.

Cost
The cost for the Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) Course is $2,049, which includes all coursework and the aPHR® exam fee.
Eligibility
There are no formal prerequisites to enroll in the aPHR Course. The aPHR® certification is designed for individuals who are beginning their careers in human resources or transitioning into the field, making it an excellent option for entry-level professionals.
