The Metropolitan Community College Area Board of Governors is seeking a replacement for a District 3 Board Member. District 3 is shown on the voting district map linked immediately below.

The deadline for receipt of applications and resumes, whether hand delivered, mailed, or emailed, is 3:00 PM on Tuesday, August 19.

Qualifications:

I understand that under Nebraska law, I am eligible for appointment to the existing vacancy on the Board of Governors only if each of the following statements is true:

  1. I am a registered voter.
  2. I have been a resident of District Three (3) of the Metropolitan Community College Area for at least the last six months.
  3. I am not an elected or appointed member of any other board related to education or the holder of a “high elected office” as that term is defined in Nebraska Revised Statute § 32-604, as amended.
