Maggie McCubbin Mundy Scholarship Fund
The Maggie McCubbin Mundy Family Scholarship Fund was established in 2025 by the Mundy Family to honor Maggie’s compassion, service, and advocacy. Maggie has been a devoted advocate for children, education, and the arts, who’s professional and volunteer service has made a lasting impact on the Omaha community. A 1987 graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Maggie served as Art Coordinator at the Children’s Museum and dedicated her life to strengthening resources for children and families. She was a founder of both the Children’s Crisis Center and the Advocacy Office for Children & Youth, chaired child advocacy efforts for the Junior League, and served for many years on the Parent Assistance Line Steering Committee. Her leadership extended to numerous boards, including Child Savings Institute, Uta Halee, Camp Fire Girls and Boys, Friends of Planned Parenthood, and the Child Abuse Council, as well as District 66 advisory and mentoring programs. A committed volunteer with organizations such as the Omaha Symphony, Joslyn, Omaha Ballet, and Clarkson Hospital, Maggie has also given generously of her time as a Girl Scout leader, room mother, church leader at Countryside Community Church, and community board member. Maggie is married to Robert Mundy and is the proud mother of Beth and Chris.
