Automotive Express Lane Technician
Credential
Overview
- Students learn the basics in oil and filter changes, fluid level top offs, tire rotation, repair, and replacements.
- Learn how to conduct multi-point vehicle checkups using a vehicle lift and other light mechanical work.
- Upon successful completion, students will earn:
- Battery Starting and Charging Certification
- Torque Mechanical Certificatio
- EHP System V Tire and Wheel Certification
- Torque Theory Test Certification
Types of Jobs: Express Lane Technician, Lube technician.
Prerequisite: Be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Time Requirement to Complete Credential: 2 weeks, 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, 40 hours total of hands on training.
