Transfer Guide: Applicable MCC courses to CHI Health School of Radiologic Technology (Fall 2022)

CHI Health – School of Radiologic Technology offers a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology. The program is a 23-month program and consists of lecture, demonstrations, laboratory and supervised clinical experiences. Listed below are MCC courses that satisfy the CHI Health – School of Radiologic Technology.

Admission to the Radiography program requires the applicant to present a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) at time of application submission and successfully complete 36-45-semester hours (64.5-quarter hours) of prerequisites prior to matriculation.

English/Speech Requirements (Minimum of 13.5 Credit Hours)

  • ENGL 1010 English Composition I (4.5)
  • ENGL 1020 English Composition II (4.5)
  • COMS 1110 Public Speaking (4.5)

Mathematics Requirements (Minimum of 4.5 Credit Hours)

  • MATH 1312 Intermediate Algebra (4.5)

Biology & Chemistry Requirements (Minimum of 18 Credit Hours)

  • BIOS 1010 Introduction to Biology (6.0)
  • CHEM 1010 College Chemistry (6.0)
  • BIOS 2310 Human Anatomy & Physiology I (6.0)

Medical Terminology Requirements (Minimum of 3-9 Credit Hours)

  • Complete BIOS 1050 Medical Terminology or HIMS 1120 Medical Terminology I and HIMS 1130 Medical Terminology II

Cultural Studies Requirements (Minimum of 4.5 Credit Hours)

  • SOCI 2060 Multicultural Studies (4.5)

Sociology Requirements (Minimum of 9.0 Credit Hours)

  • PSYC 1010 Introduction to Psychology (4.5)
  • SOCI 1010 Introduction to Sociology (4.5)

Humanities Requirements (Minimum of 9.0 Credit Hours)

  • 1st course: Select a general education course from the PHIL, ARTS, or MUSC prefix
  • 2nd course: Select a Humanities General Education course from the MCC Catalog
